Join Us in Europe for Our 10th Annual Ski & See!

Thoughts from your vacation leader: Gary Hazan

The 2006 Ski and See Europe vacation to Ortisei, Italy will be the 10th year that I will be leading a group to Europe. Even after nine years and over 300 skiers, I am continually amazed by what European ski resorts have to offer our group, and I hope to convey to you why I am so passionate about this vacation.

I consider this much more than a ski trip; rather it's a European vacation that happens to include great skiing. If you are a beginner skier, the beauty of the countryside will overwhelm you and if you are an advanced skier the trails will go beyond your wildest dreams. And that's just during the day! The nightlife is never-ending with great beer, wine and dancing.

One of the things I have really enjoyed is the fact that so many of the same people join us year after year; but it is the people who are experiencing this vacation for the first time that really give me a thrill. I feel great pride from seeing the look on their faces and hearing the excitement in their voices when they first see the Alps and our beautiful European ski village. At some point in the vacation I always ask them: "Does it live up to all your expectations." The response is always a resounding, "Yes, and then some!" I realize that this sounds a bit like a sales pitch... but it is the truth.

This trip has survived for ten years primarily by word of mouth. I truly believe that if you haven't skied in Europe then you really haven't experienced everything a ski vacation can and should offer! I hope you and your ski buddies can join us... It will be an amazing vacation!

The Beauty

The beauty of an Alpine Mountain ski resort is reason enough to spend a week in a European ski resort! The quaint villages, the snow capped mountain ranges that go on for as far as your eyes can see, are all so incredible and in my opinion incomparable to anything in North America! Plus you are within hours of major European cities, like Venice, Italy a city rich in history, culture and beauty. It truly is one of Europe's great treasures. I am very confident that there is nowhere in North America that will offer you all that this trip will offer you!

In addition to skiing you will have the opportunity to extend your vacation for three days to one of Europe's great cities. This is a great way to end your European vacation! This year we are headed to Budapest, Hungary!
